Leonard selected ticket number 4 in honor of his favorite Bruins player, Bobby Orr, and won a $100,000 prize. Leonard, along with the cheering fans in the stands, then learned that ticket 24 held the $250,000 prize. Leonard’s prize also includes two tickets to that night’s game and a Boston Bruins jersey.
Leonard, a Quincy firefighter and a married father of two, also has had the good fortune while playing Lottery games to win a $2 Boston Bruins Suite Experience and the $2 Celtics Court Experience prizes. While attending the Celtics Court Experience at the TD Garden, he was riding in an elevator with a person that had a seizure and due to his training as a firefighter; Leonard was able to assist in stabilizing the passenger. Winning the Boston Bruins Suite Experience, Celtics Court Experience and the On Ice Challenge is a hat-trick for a deserving guy. March 5, 2011
